How it Works
Successful Buying
Visit on a regular basis as new items are added to the rails every week
Ask if you are looking for a particular item – we are happy to contact you.
Always be prepared to try on something unexpected, and look carefully for shoes, handbags and beautiful scarves.
Check out the Snappy Dresser’s rails before tackling the High Street particularly for high end items such as coats.
Successful Selling
We all make fashion mistakes, change our minds or drop a dress size
Try to keep tags on new clothes until you are sure they are a success
Think about what you no longer wear or haven’t worn for a year – the longer you hold on to an item, the less likely it is to sell.
Wash and press everything before sale and check for any stains and imperfections.
Terms & Conditions
Clients receive 50% of the sale price.
Clothes must be in mint condition, clean, pressed, or ideally DRY CLEANED, and on a hanger. Other goods must also be in an ‘as new’ condition ready for sale.
The Snappy Dresser will display items for an agreed sale period, normally eight weeks.
After six weeks, the item(s) will be moved on to a sale rail and reduced by approximately one third of the original selling price. Any unsold goods must be collected at the end of the agreed selling period, or donated to charity. No reminders will be given.
The Snappy Dresser cannot accept responsibility for items left for sale – they are left at the client’s own risk.
Items cannot be exchanged after purchase and no credit notes will be given. Your statutory rights will not be affected.
